How to use: Once you have purchased the package, you will receive the 16 effects in .LME format, neatly zipped in a folder, ready to be loaded into Lumion.

How to load the Effects: In Lumion 2023, in Photo or Movie Mode, you should click on the three dots in the corner of the "add effect" option and choose the "load effect list" option. From there, it's simply a matter of selecting the effect with the desired mood that matches your project, and you're all set:

How to choose the Effects: You should choose the effect according to the reference you desire for your project. Each effect is assigned a number and has a mood name indicating how to use it. To make the most out of using the effects try to maintain the camera position and the placement of light sources in the scene based on the references provided in our respective effect scenes.

• For exterior scenes: you simply need to use the effect based on the angle of the main object and the desired mood. For example, if you want to showcase the building/house of your project in perspective, use the effect with the corresponding time/weather followed by the "perspective" nomenclature. If it's a frontal view, choose the effect with the "frontal" nomenclature. It's as simple as that.

• For interior scenes: you should use the effect based on the natural light sources in your project, such as the main, side, or frontal entrances. Choose the "one side/frontal light" effect for a single light source. If you have two or more light sources, use the effect with multiple entries.

Please note that we do not offer specific nighttime effects for interior scenes since scenes with artificial lighting as the main light source will depend on the lighting design you have created for your project. In such cases, the effects would require extensive adjustments for each type of lighting design, making the use of a specific effect not too simple. However, Effect 05 - From Scene Exterior 05 - mood: NIGHT can still expedite the process in these types of scenes instead of starting from scratch.
